How It Works

The get-one is the Assignment API endpoint responsible for fetching specified assignment details. Let’s consider how it typically works:

The get-one endpoint has a certain URL that you send your HTTP POST requests to initiate a fetching assignment from project file. The URL: /tasks/v4.0/assignments/get-one.

To get specified assignment, you provide a file and assignment uid to select which assignment you want to fetch.

Once the Assignment API receives your request, it starts the fetching process. It parses the project file, get requested assignment and converts it into readable JSON format.

After the fetching is complete, the Assignment API sends back an HTTP response to your request that includes a downloadable link to the JSON file.
